“Walk as children of the light”
(Ephesians 5:8)

Parents, leaders, and educators, we have a mission, a duty to lead children's souls toward the Light which will be their guide and their happiness. In order to illuminate the way that lies before each one of us, once a week we invite you to discover some of the words of certain wisemen and witnesses, measuring their worth by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: “Do not consider the one who speaks, but whatever good you hear from him, confide it to your memory.” (from The Sixteen Ways to Acquire the Treasure of Knowledge by St. Thomas). Happy reading!

To seek God, and to find Him, you have only to turn inward each morning and evening, or at any moment of the day.

Pius XII (1876-1958)
Eugenio Pacelli, pope from 1939 to 1958

“Have you said your prayers, my children?” asked the Lady. And the seers answered: “Hardly, my Lady.” Would we be able to answer any differently? Alas! …So here is a beautiful and simple way to reform ourselves: “Ah! my children, you must do it well every morning and evening, and when you can’t do better only a Pater or an Ave is necessary… when you have the time and can do better though, you must say more than that.” Can we imagine a less demanding program, or a more perfect adaptation to our modern and hectic way of life? Who doesn’t have the time in the morning and in the evening, to make a sign of the cross, to greet the Heavenly Father who gives us our daily bread, and who clears obstacles from our path day by day. And she, too, who is all beautiful, accompanies us with her prayer now and at the hour of our death.”
