Ad Lucem Fund

PURPOSE OF THE “AD LUCEM FUND”

The endowment fund entitled “Ad Lucem Fund” was first created to support the expansion of our school in Fontenay-le-Fleury, since this school is essential to the permanent establishment of our Congregation in the area of Paris. This fund also benefits all of our activities and various needs: construction projects, correspondence with codes and regulations, and new foundations in other places where we are so often called to go.

The endowment fund provides financial support, and/or allows the realization of a work of general interest: the formation and education of children. Therefore, it is important to make this fund known. This will allow us to extend our work wherever we are called. The expansion of our apostolate depends on vocations, and on substantial financial resources, which are lacking at present.

JUDICIAL CAPACITY OF OUR “AD LUCEM FUND”

Our endowment fund benefits from a great legal flexibility, since it can, without cost to us, receive and administer goods and rights which are donated irrevocably and freely in the form of legacies, notarized donations, or monetary gifts.

Therefore, our fund can accommodate all kinds of donations: personal estates (movables, capital shares, etc.), as well as all sorts of real estates (rentals and non-rentals).

CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE “AD LUCEM FUND”

For private French benefactors, the donations for our endowment fund may entitle the benefactor to an income tax deduction up to 66% of the amount of the donation, and up to 20% of his taxable income.

For businesses, the donations for the endowment fund may entitle the individual to a tax deduction up to 60% of the amount of the donation, and up to 5‰ of the turnover. Please contact your tax advisor for more information.

DONATIONS AND LEGACIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE “AD LUCEM FUND”

As stated by article #795 of the General Code of Taxes, all donations and legacies which are granted to the endowment fund, and which respect the criteria of eligibility stated above, are theoretically exempt from transfer rights. In order to allow us to develop our apostolate in France and abroad, it is of prime importance to make our “Ad Lucem Fund” fund known to all individuals who might be interested in its existence, to presidents of corporations and businesses, to lovers of beautiful art and architecture, and to those concerned with the revival of Christianity through the formation and education of young girls in France and all over the world.

In order to respond to so many needs, we depend on your help. We thank you, and assure you of our prayers in gratitude for your generosity. Four Masses are offered at Fanjeaux every month for our benefactors and their families.
