(Ephesians 5:8)
Parents, leaders, and educators, we have a mission, a duty to lead children's souls toward the Light which will be their guide and their happiness. In order to illuminate the way that lies before each one of us, once a week we invite you to discover some of the words of certain wisemen and witnesses, measuring their worth by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: “Do not consider the one who speaks, but whatever good you hear from him, confide it to your memory.” (from The Sixteen Ways to Acquire the Treasure of Knowledge by St. Thomas). Happy reading!
Onward, without worry!
The road is straight, though it climbs…
Already, your Angel his wings has joyously outspread –
For you! Winged joy, winged Victory!
Paul Verlaine (1868-1955)

THE ANGELS
Of Angel’s wings I have no need
But of their beauty only:
And thinking how their joy is whole,
Untouched by malice, pure, and holy,
I smile to know their joy is sure –
Their battle won, by storms unmoved,
Their bent is over us, the poor, the blind, the lonely.Thank you, angels,
For being our companions,
Pouring into our thoughts drops of light
Gently stolen from the inexhaustible sources
Of your inspiration;
For changing our hearts,
For changing our ways,
Our ways, so often foolish and faulty.
The angels, our companions!
Those who stay by our side, even after hope has faded,
Who gather with you the fragments of happiness
That are still usable,
And use them to create reasons to try again,
The desire to start anew;
The angels who ring in those incomparable hours,
The ones that rekindle enthusiasm and love,
The hours when it is good to suffer
ecause we are sure to love.
The great joy of angels:
To teach us to cry,
To teach us to love.
