You can only learn with pleasure

“Walk as children of the light”
(Ephesians 5:8)

Parents, leaders, and educators, we have a mission, a duty to lead children's souls toward the Light which will be their guide and their happiness. In order to illuminate the way that lies before each one of us, once a week we invite you to discover some of the words of certain wisemen and witnesses, measuring their worth by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: “Do not consider the one who speaks, but whatever good you hear from him, confide it to your memory.” (from The Sixteen Ways to Acquire the Treasure of Knowledge by St. Thomas). Happy reading!

“It is better to know very little, and to have a mind used to studying…

Pierre LASSERRE (1867-1930)
Literary Critic, Journalist, and Essayist

“You say, “You don’t learn while having fun”, and I answer, you only learn while having fun. The art of teaching is simply the art of rousing the curiosity of young souls in order to later satisfy that curiosity; and curiosity is only alive and healthy in happy minds. Intelligences that have information poured into them like into a barrel, become choked and smothered by that information. To digest information, you have to have taken it with an appetite.”

RAVAISSON (1813-1900)
