Cooperators with God

“Walk as children of the light”
(Ephesians 5:8)

Parents, leaders, and educators, we have a mission, a duty to lead children's souls toward the Light which will be their guide and their happiness. In order to illuminate the way that lies before each one of us, once a week we invite you to discover some of the words of certain wisemen and witnesses, measuring their worth by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: “Do not consider the one who speaks, but whatever good you hear from him, confide it to your memory.” (from The Sixteen Ways to Acquire the Treasure of Knowledge by St. Thomas). Happy reading!

“A beautiful woman pleases the eyes, a good woman pleases the heart. One is a jewel, the other a treasure.”

NAPOLÉON (1769-1821)
Soldier and French Statesmen, First Emperor of France

“If one day you are called to be cooperators with God in the transmission of life, the resolution to be saints must rise up in you and must grow stronger each day, and you must resolve to be such as spouses. Beside the shining column of Virgins, there will be another of the multitude of saintly spouses. All attempts to make you compromise, to make you lose the perfume which constitutes your charm, must find you indomptable and ready to face any trial.”

PIE XII (1876-1958)
Eugenio Pacelli, Pope from 1939 to 1958
