Pray for our pastoral lands, for peace in our homes!

“Walk as children of the light”
(Ephesians 5:8)

Parents, leaders, and educators, we have a mission, a duty to lead children's souls toward the Light which will be their guide and their happiness. In order to illuminate the way that lies before each one of us, once a week we invite you to discover some of the words of certain wisemen and witnesses, measuring their worth by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: “Do not consider the one who speaks, but whatever good you hear from him, confide it to your memory.” (from The Sixteen Ways to Acquire the Treasure of Knowledge by St. Thomas). Happy reading!

“When shall we go, beyond mountains and shores, to hail the birth of new labour, new wisdom, the flight of tyrants and of demons, and the end of superstition, to adore — to be the first to adore! — Christmas on earth!

Arthur Rimbaud (1854-1891)
Poet

“Pray for our ancestors who transmitted the crèche and for our mothers who learned its art, pray for our fathers and for our homes. And since, from the dancing countryside to the sea, we belong to the same family, permit us to pray for the whole rattling caravan. We prostrate ourselves at your feet, good Jesus, You who wanted to be born among the masses. Pray for our pastoral lands, for our homes. Lord, pray for Provence!”
