Navigate while singing

“Walk as children of the light”
(Ephesians 5:8)

Parents, leaders, and educators, we have a mission, a duty to lead children's souls toward the Light which will be their guide and their happiness. In order to illuminate the way that lies before each one of us, once a week we invite you to discover some of the words of certain wisemen and witnesses, measuring their worth by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: “Do not consider the one who speaks, but whatever good you hear from him, confide it to your memory.” (from The Sixteen Ways to Acquire the Treasure of Knowledge by St. Thomas). Happy reading!

“Living is navigating toward the light while singing, one’s eyes riveted on God.”

Father GARRIGOU-LAGRANGE (1877-1964)
Dominican

“We need a school atmosphere of honesty, joy, and wholesome pride; we are willing to do our part to bring it about, but we would like to see it finally happen. We will refuse neither discipline nor sanctions, but they must come from hearts who understand us and love us, so that it will be easier for us to accept them. Give us what is necessary from the point of view of culture and doctrine so we can honestly accomplish our journey amidst men in this valley of tears.”

Father CALMEL (1914-1975)
Dominican
